How about using blood flow to charge your phone?

Nanowires

Nanowires

No good finding on DIY today. So decided to blog about this interesting news, which in the future we maybe able to generate energy as long as there is movement.

Recently a group of researchers have devised a method that allows the generation of energy by converting low-frequency vibrations from body movement, heartbeat, blood flow, and the wind into electricity. The discovery uses zinc oxide nanowires that generate electricity when subjected to mechanical stress.

Wang said, “Quite simply, this technology can be used to generate energy under any circumstances as long as there is movement.”
