Control wheelchair using your thought

Wheelchair control by power of thought

Wheelchair control by power of thought

Remember Professor X from X-Men who is able to control his wheelchair by just using his mind. And this is going to become reality as scientists at the University of Zaragoza have developed a wheelchair controlled by the power of thought. The chair is equipped with a laser sensor and a screen to display a real-time virtual reconstruction of the surroundings. Sensors on the wheels keep track of the chair’s position as it moves.

Due to each person’s pattern of brain activity is different, the chair needs time to adapt to its user. The device was tested by five volunteers, they were all able to control the chair with their thoughts alone after just 45 minutes of practice. There is still a lot of limitation to this invention so it still under going developing before it go into commercial production.

Phone that lets you send kiss to your love one

Kiss phone

Kiss phone

Self-styled freelance inventor Georges Koussouros has developed a mobile equipped with a pair of lips that lets you send real kisses down the line.

When the user kisses the device, it detects the pressure, percussion speed, temperature and sucking force of the kiss, and transmits the data to the loved one at the other end of the line, where the kiss is reproduced exactly.

Kisses can be repeated, left as a message and even relayed to other people. Koussouros even envisages a “kiss bank” allowing users to receive a kiss from Madonna or other stars.

Cryptex mobile phone

The whole idea of having a Mobile Phone is that it can be used in emergencies. The Cryptex phone is so complex and tough to operate that it would take atleast 4 minutes for a person to dial a number on this Phone. If you want to dial a number, you have to turn the dial of every element to the desired cipher. You have to place the numbers in such a way that the umber you want to dial is in line with the green LED. If you want to hang up the call you turn the first segment to “hang up” (red LED). The phone works without buttons and without a display and based on the old dial phones. Lucky this is only a concept phone it is not going to be release to the consumers.
