You are right to argue that there are already so many type of coffee mixer machine around. Why do we still need a coffee robot which take longer time to prepare coffee than the coffee mixer machine? Dun you find the robot is cute and when your are bore it may be nice to watch it make coffee to kill some of your bore time. Anyway i think this just show that how advance Japanese is when come to making robot.

The Timex2154 is a conceptual watch design that took runner-up in the global watch design competition sponsored by Timex and Core77. So in the near future we may get to wear watch on our fingernail rather on our wrist. Just imagine how small can an electronic device go. I bet in the future they may even be able to integrate a 1 mega pixel camera into it.
