StumbleUpon tutorial – Increase your blog traffic

StumbleUpon idea was to help users find website of their interest. Users just need to click on the Stumble button it will bring them to a website base on their interest. Of course you need to install the Stumbleupon toolbar before you have the Stumble button. So how does it drive traffic for blogger like us? Very simple there is this “I like it” button beside the Stumble toolbar it is for users to mark their favorite and stall in their StumbleUpon account. And this will be added to the StumbleUpon directory. Randomly your post will be at the main page of StumbleUpon, i got mine on the main page after about 2 months. It is much easier than Digg because Digg depend on the number of people who digg your post in order to get onto the main page where else StumbleUpon do not require that. Let me show you some screen shot to guide you through.

Whe click on the “I like it” button a screen will pop up. You can choose to add review and just a quick submit.

Make sure after you submit this “Thank you!” screen is shown. If it does not show up mean you have not submit successfully. I have encounter this before. To proof that this method work i have include a screen shot of site meter proving that my traffic source did come from StumbleUpon. And for that week i have like 1000 visitor daily.

Stretch your shoe with ice

I guess some of you all may have bought shoe that is too small and end up putting it one side or give it to people. Of course you can try to sell it at ebay. Try out this method of stretching your shoe before you give away or do anything to it. It a very simple DIY that involve ziplock bag, water and also some patience. It was reported in Today noon edition newspaper that a security bug could allow hackers to take control of your computer. Hacker take advantage of the browser video plugin vulnerabilities to gain control of your PC. Microsoft had advised users to disable the affected plugin and suspicious ActiveX as a temporary measure. DEll sell monitor at the wrong price!! US$15!!

How i have wish that i have been surfing the Taiwanese Dell website, i would have got the deal man. channelregister site reported that Dell had accidentally sold 140,000 unit of monitor at US$15. And it is just within a span of 8 hours, 26, 000 customers have place their orders.

According to the statement, if Dell doesn’t follow the directive, Taipei will consider it a violation of the country’s fair trade laws and seek legal recourse.

Dell has issued a statement on the matter apologizing and claiming it will compensate the buyers for the mistake
