Handheld wireless visual interface PS3

Handheld wvi PS3

One techknott has just finished up his latest creation, a WVI (wireless visual interface) for Sony’s PlayStation 3 console. With this device he can play PS3 anywhere in his house. Take note this is not a portable PS3, inside it does not contain any PS3 console hardware. It uses an RF receiver to pick up AV signals. A 1.2GHz wireless transmitter is used to get the controller commands to the PS3, and the same is used in reverse to get the video signals from the console to the homegrown device. At the moment the guy accidentally blown a TA7176AP chip on the sound reciever board so the sound is kind of low quality and once he fix that it will be on sale.
