Augmented reality technology has been getting popular among mobile phone programmer. They have been coming out with new application for phone that is base on augmented reality technology. With the most recent and popular being Sekai camera app. The innovative app allows users to view the real world through the lens of a mobile device to bring both digital and analog life together. Basically it mean when you point your phone camera at one of the item, it will auto fetch the item data from a database and project it on your phone. As you point to the next item it will just auto update it as long as the database have the data. Even if the database does not have the detail you can volunteer to add the data into the database. The integration with GPS makes even more possible with video/audio tours, neighborhood guides, and travel in general.

T3Desk is fun and useful application you can consider to install on your vista or windows 7 machine. It can be also install on XP machine but T3Desk will feel better when use together with the aero feature found in vista and windows 7. If you are looking for application to replace your Alt-Tab you can try this out too.

After you have install the application on your computer, you will have the ability to to move them around, flip them, zoom in and out, stack on top of each other, control transparency, and more. Instead of the normal left click to minimize the windows, you just need to right click on the minimize button and it will become a 3D window. After that you can use the mouse center button to zoom in and out, left click on them to move them around or stack them on top of each other. Right click on the 3D windows and hold it then move your mouse around will change the 3D windows shape. Simply left click on the windows will restore them back to normal.

Hover your mouse pointer over the icon on the taskbar to get a view of everything that is running.

This is the main menu of the T3Desk application. From here you can manage how its start, tweaking the option to suit your preference, reading the FAQ and more. T3Desk may look like a fun application but it can be use to improve your productivity. Instead of using Alt-Tab to scroll through your windows using T3Desk provide you with a wider view of what current windows is running and in a 3D environment.

Still remember my previous post which was few week ago. I wrote of how you can write a small script to remind you to unplug your usb thumb drive when you shut down or log off your pc (Never forget your USB flash drive). I understand that there is quite a few steps you need to follow and is a little complicated but do not worry i found a piece of software to help you. It is call Flash Drive Reminder. Follow the link to download and it is a freeware. This is a tiny application that you put it into your thumb drive and it require very little space only. It work when you go to log off or shut down your session, the reminder pops up, reminding you to plug out your drive. That it, very easy as compare to my previous post which you need to write a small script.
