Dell Inc. Authorizes CBL Data Recovery Technologies To Provide Services For Dell Hardware

Armonk, NY & San Diego, CA (PRWEB) September 23, 2004 -

CBL Data Recovery Technologies Inc. (http://www.cbltech.com), a leading international provider of computer data recovery services, has been authorized by Dell Inc. to perform data recovery services on all Dell hardware worldwide.

Dell users who suffer data loss regardless of location can now contact any CBL facility or authorized partner world wide and arrange to have their media delivered for recovery. CBL offers a free estimate for all recovery jobs regardless of device type or circumstance.

“Often users are scared to send their affected drives for data recovery for fear it will void the manufacturer’s warranty for the entire computer system,” says Bill Margeson, CBL Data Recovery Technologies CEO. “Dell’s stamp of approval means any user of Dell equipment, whether it’s a laptop or an enterprise server, can bring us their affected drives and know Dell will support them even after we’ve done what we have to do to get their data back.”

CBL is seeing is increased recognition from users that proactively safeguarding their data is as necessary purchasing a warranty for the actual equipment and as a result they are looking to vendors for more options and solutions that address data loss scenarios.

“Dell’s authorization to perform data recovery on its hardware not only demonstrates the company’s faith in our expertise as an established, global provider of data recovery services, but is a clear indication that major hardware vendors recognize the need for services such as ours,” adds Margeson. “Customers, regardless of the type of data they have or its purpose, are realizing their data now holds more value than the actual laptop or server on which it resides.”

A leader in its field, CBL is a multinational data recovery organization with facilities in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Barbados, England, Germany, China, Singapore, Japan and Australia. The company has been focused solely on the data recovery market for more than a decade. Through its on-going research and development efforts, CBL has created a library of proprietary processes to successfully recover data from failed PC hard disk drives when all other conventional methods have failed.

Bumptop – Give us a whole new 3D desktop environment

Bumptop has been around for quite a few year just that it is alway in beta testing and so was not release to the public. Recently it release a free edition and a conmercial version. Bumptop is an unique 3D desktop for Windows that lets you arrange items on your computer screen just like the way you would organize stuff on a cluttered physical desk. Let say for example if there are a lot of icon on your desktop, in the bumptop environment you can hightlight them and group them in pile. If you are someone who like to paste sticky note on your real wall, you can do it on the bumptop too, simply drag and paste it on the wall. There are a lot of good feature on bumptop i let the video to show it to you.

While Bumptop would work just fine on a regular PC, it would be more fun to use if one had a touch-screen monitor like the HP TouchSmart PC or the Dell XT Tablet. Just imagine that in the future you could be using your hand to arrage the icon instead of using your mouse, this is also one of the goal of microsoft to minimize the use of mouse in near future.
