Super Mario Beer Pong Table

super mario beer pong table Super Mario Beer Pong Table
It has been proven time and time again that people will spend extraordinary amounts of time, money and effort creating things to help them drink beer. This Super Mario Beer Pong and Flip Cup Table is no exception. Dan Byckalo, spent 100 hours of his (apparently very ample) free time to build this six foot long table that can be used for either (or both at once!) game.

The table has an exceptional amount of characters and details from Super Mario 3. We’re talking scenes from all of the game’s 8 worlds, each of which has 10 enemies, a Mario and a pair of items, 7 Koopa Kids and a Bowser castle at each end with the 7 Kings in the middle of the table. To top it off (literally) Dan put -8 coats of urethane on top to seal it against even the most aggressive beer ponger.

Check out the highly detailed making of and walkthrough video:

Well done Dan.

Build it yourself Brush Robot

Instead of just letting another weekend go by without doing something great with your time.  Now you can pick up a kit to create your own bristle-covered companion.  The Brush Robot may not be a big talker, but he’ll listen to you all day long.  He has moving eyes and can sweep across the floor while you kick back and relax.  He requires 2 AAA batteries to keep him up and running.  You can purchase him for £15.00 or about $23 from the ScienceMuseum.

FIFA BBQ Grill PC Computer Casemod

FIFA BBQ Grill PC Computer Casemod

Take a look at this intriguing PC case mod that was presented recently at a German Case Modding Championship. It’s a barbecue grill computer all decked out in FIFA10 branding. Inside the BBQ is a working PC with a Core 2 Duo CUP, Asus ATI 4870 graphic card with 1024 MB ram, Corsair TwinX 4GB Ram, 1000 MB hard drive, a DVD burner, mouse, keyboard and Windows Vista Home.

Fake grilled food not included. It’s missing one CRUCIAL element as far as I can see- a monitor. Well technically two crucial elements- the ability to actually use the grill to cook food would be HOT. Personally this casemod is a little too corporate and missing the homemade element that makes most other case mods so special but the form factor of the barbecue is pretty unique and Spring appropriate.

Fifa (German) Thanks to “The Schmittster”!

DIY soup can coffee bean roaster

Definitely a good a way to reuse your metal can after you have empty the contents inside. By combining the can and a cordless hand drill you will get an automate coffee roaster. According to the person he spend less than 10bucks and 30min to build this device. What he does is cut and fold vanes into the drum to aid the tumbling. A second soup can drum focuses the heat from his stove-top burner. For more detail in building this device you can visit his site at angelfire.
