Wireless Page To TV Magnifier

When we reach the age of 40 and above our eye sight get poorer, some of us may begin to have difficulty reading tiny words on the book. Instead of using magnifying to magnify the words, some inventor has created something that look like a PC mouse which will magnify the tiny words on the book into 25 times larger than the original word and then project it on your TV.Wireless Page To TV Magnifier

As easy to use as a computer mouse, this device scans written materials and sends them wirelessly to your television set in real time, magnifying them up to 25X for easy viewing of fine print. The wireless magnifier’s bright 655 x 488 pixel handheld scanner picks up every detail of a picture or every letter of a word and transfers data to its base station (that plugs into your TV) which then sends it to your television screen with a bright, easy-to-read 2 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ field of view. Magnification ranges from 10X on a 14″ TV to 28X on a 32″ TV.

This device is tend to produce better result when use on screen that is no larger than 32″.

Handheld wireless visual interface PS3

Handheld wvi PS3

One techknott has just finished up his latest creation, a WVI (wireless visual interface) for Sony’s PlayStation 3 console. With this device he can play PS3 anywhere in his house. Take note this is not a portable PS3, inside it does not contain any PS3 console hardware. It uses an RF receiver to pick up AV signals. A 1.2GHz wireless transmitter is used to get the controller commands to the PS3, and the same is used in reverse to get the video signals from the console to the homegrown device. At the moment the guy accidentally blown a TA7176AP chip on the sound reciever board so the sound is kind of low quality and once he fix that it will be on sale.
