I am writing this because I, like so many others, have had one of their best friends die on them. That’s right, I am talking about my Xbox 360 getting the red ring of death.

Now my first one to die did so before I was on my own and Microsoft sent me a new one. I was not so lucky on the second one. I was told that I could send it in and that they would fix it in a couple of weeks but I did not feel like paying the money they wanted (I do not remember the exact amount but it was not exactly cheap).

So I did what every real man does and take the job upon myself to make my world right. I hit the internet in search of a guide.

There are literally thousands of guides and ebooks out there that will tell you how you can repair your 360 red lights. I took advantage of the fact that most of these guides have a 60 day money back guarantee and started testing out which guide was the best.

My personal favorite was 3RedLight Fix. They were the best as far as clarity of direction and cost/ benefit ratio. There were more than just a written guide, they had videos.
